The Understood website’s main focus is on helping parents of kids with learning and attention issues. Understood is a free online resource (in English and Spanish) that is aimed at providing families with practical tools and advice for their child’s academic, social, and emotional journey. The goal is to help the millions of parents whose children, ages 3–20, are struggling with learning and attention. 

One in five children in the United States struggle with some degree of reading, writing, math, organization, concentration, listening comprehension, social skills and motor skills—or a combination of these.
